Ace Combat 8 MRP Farming Calculator
A replay with a larger reward can still take longer to fund your next jet. Compare the MRP you actually received with the full time spent repeating a mission, then calculate how many runs your purchase needs.

Go to the calculatorOpen the full-size result screen
Plan the next purchase
Enter the total cost of the jets, wingman copies, weapons and parts you intend to buy. Use the MRP reward on your result screen, separate from rank score.
Entries stay in this tab. Export the calculated plan before leaving; this tool does not read your game save.
Choose a loop you can finish reliably
Start with a cleared mission you know well. Time from starting the replay until you can start the next one, including menu time and loading. If an attempt fails before a successful clear, add that lost time to the loop rather than recording only the fastest success.
Compare two routes on the settings and loadouts you intend to use. If you change difficulty or aircraft, label the new setup separately. Do not apply a difficulty multiplier to a reward already shown on the result screen.
The Mission 7 guide covers score building and return-line resupply. The Mission 28 guide shows an Ace run with runway rearming. Use either when it is available to you; the calculator does not assume either is your fastest farm.
The calculation
- MRP still needed
- Purchase budget minus current balance, stopping at zero.
- Loops needed
- MRP still needed divided by MRP per loop, rounded up.
- Total time
- Loops needed multiplied by full loop time.
- MRP per hour
- MRP per loop × 3,600 ÷ loop seconds.
Budget for the whole loadout
Check the price of every planned purchase in your own Aircraft Tree, including the branch leading to a jet, special weapons, parts and extra wingman copies. Enter their combined cost as the purchase budget. Before buying, compare aircraft roles and access, and check whether the upcoming sortie requires a carrier-capable jet.
MRP and S rank are different goals
A profitable replay is not proof of an S-rank threshold. Keep time, score, checkpoint restarts and rank in the S rank notebook; keep actual MRP and full loop time here. Campaign purchases and online progression are separate.
